CARDIOVASCULAR
COALITION

The mission of the CardioVascular Coalition is to advance patient access to cardiovascular care. We believe everyone should have access to high-quality, cost-effective cardiovascular treatment, regardless of where they live or how much money they have.

TAKE ACTION
Tell Your Representative to Stop Office-Based Specialty Cuts! Ongoing cuts to office-based specialists under Medicare continue to accelerate the health system consolidation trend, exacerbate health inequities in a variety of diseases, and threaten the pandemic resilience of our healthcare system.

PAD

Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), also known as claudication, poor circulation, vascular disease, or hardening of arteries in the legs, is a chronic, life-threatening condition. PAD can lead to Critical Limb Ischemia and, ultimately, amputation of a patient's peripheral appendages (e.g. toes, feet, and legs).

CAD

Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is a condition that occurs when arteries that supply blood to the heart become narrowed or blocked. This happens due to buildup of plaque over time, which can cause arteries to become hardened and narrow, thereby reducing blood flow to the heart.  CAD can lead to heart attack and death.
